Regardless of Ethnic background or whether hair texture is straight, wavy, or over curly, The Beauty Institute is dedicated to providing exceptional training for every hair type. As a licensed Cosmetologist, you will be able to make each and every customer feel and look their best!

That said, due to the various hair styles African Americans wear and the techniques used to achieve them, special attention is given at The Beauty Institute to educate students in regard to the health and style of African American hair.

For example, we have been proud of our exceptional Hair Braiding program that has been developed over the last ten years. Let’s not forget about color….

The coloring of African American hair can be as creative as any other hair type. Learning to create highlights, low lights, or fashion color is an important part of our Program.
